Harry Styles Dedicated His Album To A VERY Surprising Ex-GF
Apparently Harry Styles has been saving up ALL of his relationship gossip for the moment he launched his first solo album because boy-oh-boy is he spilling the beans.
In classic Styles, eh, style, the ex-One Direction singer waited until an in-depth interview with Rolling Stone to chat about his break-up with Taylor Swift and he had nothing but sweet things to say about his famous ex.
"Certain things don't work out," the 23-year-old said of the pair's on-off coupling. "There's a lot of things that can be right, and it's still wrong.
"In writing songs about stuff like that, I like tipping a hat to the time together.
"You're celebrating the fact it was powerful and made you say something, rather than 'This didn't work out, and that's bad.'
"And if you run into that person, maybe it's awkward... but you shared something.
"Meeting someone new, sharing those experiences, it's the best sh*t ever. So thank you."
Ugh, he just got even cuter.
Styles also chatted about what it's like to have pop's most talked-about singer write songs that everyone knows is about him and he is, we've gotta say, a lot cooler about it than we would be.
"I don't know if they're about me or no," he said. "But the issue is, she's so good, they're bloody everywhere.
"I write from my experiences; everyone does that.
"I'm lucky if everything [we went through] helped create those songs. That's what hits your heart.
"That's the stuff that's hardest to say, and it's the stuff I talk least about.
"That's the part that's about the two people. I'm never going to tell anybody everything."
But perhaps the most surprising revelation from the interview was the very strong hint that Styles is dedicating his album to none other than Kendall Jenner.
We know! They were barely dating.
He told Rolling Stone: "She's a huge part of the album. Sometimes you want to tip the hat, and sometimes you just want to give them the whole cap... and hope they know it's just for them."
Hear that, Kenny? It's just for you.
