Johnny Depp And Amber Heard's Marriage Is OVER

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s legal battle is over.

The pair had reached a settlement out of court, just one day before they were due to appear for a hearing and three days after Heard sat down for a deposition.

According to TMZ, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor has agreed to pay his former wife $7 million (USD), while E! News reports the court documents show Heard’s domestic violence restraining order has been dismissed as it was "with prejudice".

The two have also released a statement together, for the first time since they filed for Divorce in May, saying "Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love. Neither party has made false accusations for financial gain. There was never any intent of physical or emotional harm.

"Amber wishes the best for Johnny in the future. Amber will be donating financial proceeds from the divorce to a charity.

"There will be no further public statements about this matter."

Heard’s attorneys, Samantha Spector and Joseph Koenig also released a statement saying "We are very pleased that this matter has been settled... Amber has been vindicated in the Court of Public Opinion. The case was incredibly challenging and demanding on everyone involved, but mostly on Amber who showed great grace and strength under fire. It was an honour to represent her. "

The divorce was filed citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason.
