You Will NEVER Guess Who The Highest Paid TV Personality Is

A variety survey of the highest-paid talent on American television has revealed that the two stars of the Gilmore Girls have outdone the cast the Game of Thrones, House of Cards, NCIS, The Simpsons and Modern Family when it comes to their salaries for each episode.

Lauren Graham Graham and Alexis Bledel are earning $US750,000 an episode for the upcoming Netflix series, which is way more than is earned by Mark Harmon for NCIS, who gets $US525,000 per episode.

Kevin Spacey has been receiving $US500,00 for each episode for House of Cards, which is the same amount paid to the five key cast members on Game of Throne - Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Kit Harington and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.

The other series have way more episodes than the Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life, which will air four episodes this year as a one-off.

Other high earners include Nicole Kidman, and Reese Witherspoon is reportedly earning $350,000 an episode for a limited running HBO series Big Little Lies, which is based on Australian Liane Moriarty's best-selling novel.

The real money, however, is with Judge Judy, who earns $Us47 million a year for her show which averages 10.3 million views a week.

It brings in an estimated $US160 million-$US170 million in revenue a year, including license fees from more than 200 TV stations around the country and advertising revenue.

However, she is not the highest earner per episode as they shoot 260 episodes a year, which means she banks $US180,000 an episode.
