Coldplay Top Rock Charts for 2011

It has been confirmed that Coldplay were the biggest selling rock artist of 2011.

Coldplay's single 'Paradise' topped the chart with over 410,000 copies. The band also had the biggest selling album with Mylo Xyloto selling more than 900,000 copies.

Other efforts in the charts were from Noel Gallagher's debut solo, followed by Florence And The Machine, Foo Fighters and Mumford and Sons.

Elbow, Kasabian, Snow Patrol, Noah And The Whale and Arctic Monkeys were also in the top ten.
