The Moment That Changed MAFS' Mark's Life
He's faced his fair share of drama on Married At First Sight, but it's absolutely nothing compared to the pain and anxiety his family went through when his sister underwent brain surgery to remove a tumour last year.
In an interview with 9Honey, the 41-year-old opened up about his younger sister's diagnosis with brain cancer, and how it made him look at life differently.
"It sort of makes you look at life a bit differently and take a bit of a different perspective and probably not sweat the small stuff as much," Mark told the publication.

"If you sweat the small stuff too much, then all of a sudden, something big like this comes along, where you've genuinely got something to sweat about, then you'll probably approach it a bit differently."
His sister Jane (who had two young children at the time) has revealed that Mark's love and support got her through hard times, particularly her life-threatening surgery.
"He's strong, he's resilient, even if he's stressed he won't let on," Jane said of her older brother.
The fear felt by the family was lessened by Mark's ability to "make a joke about anything".
Meanwhile on the hugely popular reality show, Jessika claimed the fitness instructor had plans to pursue multiple women after the show, prompting 'wife' Ning to question Mark's intentions.
Married At First Sight continues Sunday at 7pm on Channel Nine.
