Netflix Makes Announcement About ’Making A Murderer"
Do you have a penchant for unsolved mysteries, do you prefer them when they’re based on real stories?
I guess that’s why Netflix’s ‘Making A Murderer’ caused such a stir.
In fact, it’s recently received six Emmy nominations.
The story follows Steven Avery, a man wrongly convicted of rape and attempted murder and served 18 years of a 32-year sentence.
Following that, Avery wound up in prison again a few years later after the death of Teresa Haibach, a photographer who had been on his property the day she was killed.
The case has now been going on for years and ‘Making A Murderer’ follows Steven’s journey, from his first wrongful arrest to present day.
Steven has always maintained his innocence, and people are generally divided as to whether he’s guilty, or was framed that way by Manitowoc County police.
According to a press release, the new episodes will take fans "back inside the story of convicted murderer Steven Avery, and his co-defendant, Brendan Dassey, as their respective investigative and legal teams challenge their convictions and the State fights to have the convictions and life sentences upheld."
The team is currently in production but no premiere date has been released.
