Deadpool 2 Trailer Gives Us First Glimpse At Latest Villain
When Deadpool first hit the big screens in 2016 the world fell in love with the Superheroes witty charms, action packed fight scenes and of course a bit of Ryan Reynolds eye-candy didn’t hurt either.
And so with the announcement of a second instalment of the film heading our way it’s safe to say that fans of the franchise were more than excited.
Not too long ago we were treated to a sneak peak trailer but to be honest it was a little bit more confusing than enlightening as to what we can expect from the second film. I mean I’m sure I’m not the only one who expected to see some shooting and insane car chase scenes, not Deadpool dressed up in a wig and painting a picture…
But now a second trailer has been released and boy oh boy does it deliver. Say hello to our latest super villain, Cable, who appears to be some sort of cyborg soldier with a grudge against Deadpool. Or as he describes himself in his gruff, evil voice, he’s “more machine than man”.
Cable is played by Josh Brolin and lets just say from the two minutes that we have seen of him in the trailer he is pretty much the definition of BAD. ASS. We’re pretty certain that there’s one heck of a fight scene coming our way when these two face off on the big screen.
Of course that’s not to say that the trailer doesn’t come with it’s quirks. Dear old Ryan does his thing breaking the fourth wall at around the halfway mark as he takes a break from talking smack with arch nemesis Cable to bag out the special effects guy and play with some action figures…
Just watch it, then you’ll understand what we’re talking about.
Deadpool is coming to cinemas May 18.
