Hugh Jackman has joked that he's formed a solidarity with other good-looking Hollywood stars.

The Australian star is known for his great physique and was even crowned Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine in 2008.

Jackman has quipped he copes with the honour by banding together with other "gorgeous" A-listers.

"Me, George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp have formed a solidarity," he laughed to British magazine OK!

"If anyone makes fun of us then we let it be known that they'll never work again!


It's been a while since Jackman bagged the title of World's Sexiest Man but he says even though he got "ribbed" by his friends about the title he made sure he milked it for all it was worth.

"When I travelled, I realised it was a bigger deal than I thought, so I milked it for all it was worth, until this day actually - I'm very surprised I'm not carrying the magazine with me now - normally I have it!"

His wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, however wasn't so impressed.

"Deb was like, 'Alright, sexy boy, take the garbage out!'

More recent recipients of the Sexiest Man Alive title include Bradley Cooper and Channing Tatum.
