Airline Passenger Checks In Just One Can Of Beer On Flight
A Melbourne man has cemented himself into legendary status after checking himself in onto a flight with nothing more than a can or beer.
He told Unilad he wanted to see what random item he could get away with checking in. His first thought was a deodorant can (clearly he doesn't read the check in warnings!) and then chose to go with the iconic export.
"Honestly the thought of a single can of export making its way down the baggage carousel was too good to pass up so I thought I’d give it a whirl," he told Unilad.
The plan worked and the treasured possession was checked in. Now all Aussie lad Dean had to do was rock up to the baggage carousel and collect his pride and joy after his flight.
"I rocked up to the baggage carousel late. There was no luggage out yet but everyone was milling around and had their phones out so I was pretty sure I knew what was going on.
"Sure enough there she was, alone on the carousel proudly making her way around. And there I was in my flanno and RMs to greet her. It was perfection," he told Unilad.
The cheeky Western Australian said he half expected the beer to be empty but was pleasantly surprised when it arrived in tact.
And if you're wondering...his beer of choice was Emu Export lager.
