Australian Currency Gets Hilarious 'Straya Cash' Makeover
The announcement of Australia's new five dollar note, which is due to hit circulation in September this year, has received it's fair share of backlash from people criticising it's design, some even saying it "looks like vomit".

Well, we've found some designs created by an Australian Creative Designer and Art Director by the name of Aaron Tyler that might tickle the critics fancy. They feature everyone and everything from Dame Edna, meat pies, and VB on the fiver, to the MCG, Ned Kelly, Lara Bingle, Agro, some thongs, Corey Worthington, Karl Stefanovic, Kylie Minogue and more on the rest of the set of bills.
As Aaron says, "If someone's face is stamped on money, it’s a pretty big deal, right? So why don’t we know who’s on ours?"
"I decided to redesign Australia’s banknotes, featuring instantly recognisable personalities and cultural icons that present-day Australians love. And the results were glorious."
We introduce to you... "STRAYA CASH". We don't think you can expect these to go into circulation anytime soon though, unfortunately.
