The Bachelorette 2017 News You’ve ALL Been Waiting For

The future of the Bachelorette may have been up in the air due to its poor ratings, but Channel Ten have now confirmed the reality dating show will be back for a third series.

Due to air next year, fans are hoping it will follow The Bachelor runner-up Nikki Gogan as the leading lady.

As yet, there has been no word on casting but a spokesperson for Channel Ten said ‘’the recipe of love, drama, excitement, romance and amazing dates has struck a chord with many people and made The Bachelorette Australia one of the most talked about shows on television and a hit across multiple screens.'

The finale of Georgia Love’s story drew in 1.49 million viewers, which is down considerably from the 2015 series.

However, it may not be good new for Nikki fans, as she did tell Studio Ten in September that she was not interested in the gig.

'No way. Not at this moment. It's too raw,' Nikki said.

She added: 'I feel like I'm not in the right head or heart space to be able to answer that question truly.'

'And on top of that, I know that's a year from now, and I feel like if I focused so far ahead that I might not be open to finding my person before then.'

The most recent rumoured romance for Nikki is Bachelorette cast-off Cameron Cranley, who she was spotted with at Derby Day on Saturday.

In one Instagram video posted by The Bachelor's Tiffany Scanlon, the pair made a love heart gesture with their hands.

So it could be Cameron, it could be the Bachelorette, but there is one thing for sure, we haven’t seen the last of Nikki.
