The Pope Discusses Freedom of Speech and would "punch someone who insulted his mother".
While discussing freedom of speech in the wake of the Charlie Hebdo attacks, Pope Francis has said that people "cannot insult the faith of others" adding that he would in fact punch anyone who insulted his mother.
Speaking on board the Papal plane on his way to the Philippines, he expressed there are limits to freedom of expression and "provocateurs" should not intentionally anger religious followers, of any faith.
However he also insisted that it is an "aberration" to kill anyone in the name of God and religion can never be used to justify violence.
