GOOD NEWS: Going To The Pub Is Good For A Man's Health

Research by University of Oxford Psychologists has revealed that the mental health of men is greatly improved if they go to the pub with their mates twice a week.

Before you go getting sloshed in the name of health, it's not so much about the actual alcohol you're consuming, but more so the quality bonding time. (cuuute) 

The social effects of physically meeting friends releases endorphins, makes men less anxious, less likely to get ill and makes them more generous. 

It's said that meeting up twice a week and spending time with your 4 closest pals is the key to nurturing friendships. 

Robin Dunbar, the director of the Social and Evolutionary Neuroscience Group at Oxford, said: "Our social networks provide us with the single most important buffer against mental and physical illness. While pubs traditionally have a role as a place for community socialising, alcohol's role appears to be in triggering the endorphin system, which promotes social bonding."
