“In New York the sky is bluer, and the grass is greener, and the girls are prettier, and the steaks are thicker, and the buildings are higher, and the streets are wider, and the air is finer than the sky, or the grass, or the girls, or the steaks, or the air of any place else in the world.” – Edna Ferber ------------------ 📷 by: @k.whatswong 🇺🇸 Tag @newyorkcity.explore #newyorkcityexplore to be featured! 📍 Bio link has all the best spots to visit in New York City on an offline map. ------------------ #newyorkcity #nyc #newyork #manhattan #newyorker #explorenewyork #visitnewyork #newyorklife #newyorkstyle #newyork_ig #newyorkphoto #newyorkartist #newyorkexplored #newyorkcitylife #newyork_world #letsgoeverywhere#bestintravel #worldplaces #meettheworld #beautifuldestinaions #mytinyatlas #travelgram #adventure #roadtrip #keepexploring #schooloftravel

Of course depending on where you’re departing from and the time of year that you want to go, the price differs slightly.

Melbournians heading to the city that never sleeps can jet off for just $896 with United Airlines while Sydneysiders are being offered the slightly higher price of $913.

There will also be a $30 surcharge for those wanting to hit the States during the middle of their summer because ya know, peak travel times are a bitch.

But of course these prices end up being significantly cheaper than flights from any other airline which start from $1000.

Thanks to @yantastic and his #YantasticFFA, I’m feeling a little less homesick today. I have had tons on my mind lately, and what keeps returning more than anything is how much I miss NYC (but mostly the food and non-zoned public transportation). There are some terms and conditions for this deal which state that the deal if only applicable for those travelling between May and June in 2019.

Also, none of the flights are direct other and you’ll have to put up with at least one stop in a major US city there and back. But that’s a small price to pay to save a few extra bucks (which you can later use as spending money on your holiday).

So if you want to skip another frosty winter here in Oz and double up on your summer time why not plan a trip to the U.S for mid next year?

But you’d better be quick! The offer is only on for a limited time and subject to availability.
