A Queensland Man Has Died In Bali Pool
Caloundra man Tyler Kennedy has reportedly passed away while on holidays in Bali this week.
The 31-year-old was found by friends at the bottom of the pool in the villa that he was staying.
Despite his friends' best efforts to recusitate Kennedy, he was pronounced dead.
The group of friends were in Bali to attend a wedding just days earlier.
One friend, Dean Carpenter, spoke to the Sunshine Coast Daily after the tragic news broke.
“He was at the villa at about 8pm when he decided to go for a swim,” Dean told the news publication.
“Ten minutes had passed before Jake found him on the bottom of the pool. The families all grew up together.
“Jake and Tyler travelled the world together surfing.
"He did a lot of work away and last year worked on the Gold Coast with Jake."
Tyler's parents are reportedly flying over to Bali .
No information has been released on the cause of death of the keen surfer.
