Ben McCormack Fronts Court Over Child Porn Charges

A Current Affair reporter Ben McCormack has appeared in court today for the first time since being arrested for child pornography charges back in April.

The former journalist for channel Nine has been charged with two counts of allegedly using a carriage service to send child pornography via the internet.

The 42-year-old was faced with a media swarm of past colleagues as he arrived with his lawyer, Sam Macedone, at Downing Centre Local Court today.

McCormack's case has since been adjourned until September 5 as police work to compile their evidence.

He had previously been arrested on April 6 by NSW Sex Crimes Child Exploitation officers and had computers and a mobile phone seized from his Alexandria home.

More as we get it.
