Police search for missing injured driver in Adelaide's north
Police are searching for a driver involved in a serious crash at Waterloo Corner overnight.
Just before midnight police and emergency services were called to the intersection on Supple Road and Brown Road after a 4WD and a sedan collided. As a result of the crash the 4WD rolled and a powerline was brought down onto the road.
The driver of the sedan, a 20-year-old Waterloo Corner man, received minor injuries and was taken to hospital. The second driver, believed to be a man aged in his 20s, was not located at the scene.
With the assistance of PolAir and Police Dog PD Arnie, patrols conducted an extensive search of the surrounding area to locate the second person involved and are concerned for their welfare as they may have suffered injuries as a result of the collision.
The intersection was closed for several hours while emergency services were at the scene but has since been reopened. Both cars were towed from the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash remains ongoing and police are asking anyone with further information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report on line at www.crimestopperssa.com.au
