Adelaide Fans Of Nick Kyrgios Will Not Be Happy...

Nick Kyrgios has pulled out of the World Tennis Challenge in Adelaide to rest his knee ahead of the Australian Open.

The 21-year-old was set to compete against World Number 31 Sam Querrey tomorrow night and Tomas Berdych on Thursday. Instead he will spend the nights resting his troublesome knee, which he has been receiving cortisone treatments for.

Rumours spread earlier this week that Kyrgios may pull the pin on his Memorial Drive appearance, but his form at the Fast4 Exhibition match, where he beat Rafael Nadal restored the organisers faith.

This is why we play ☘️

Organisers are yet to announce a replacement, but many fans have taken to Twitter calling for Lleyton Hewitt to make an appearance. The World Tennis Challenge starts tonight.
