Catching Public Transport In SA Today? Don't Get Caught Out!
Adelaide's trains will stop for about four hours TODAY as drivers meet over a pay dispute.
The stop-work meeting will halt trains from about 10am with services expected to resume shortly after the meeting finishes at 2pm.
Transport Minister Stephen Mullighan says talks on a new enterprise agreement with the drivers have been progressing.
The Rail, Tram and Bus Union says drivers, controllers, station staff and ticket inspectors deserve better wages and conditions after going more than two years without a pay rise.
Wednesday's meeting is not expected to disrupt peak-hour services but the government will offer free train travel on Thursday to compensate commuters for any inconvenience.
