Disturbing Footage Emerges Of Autistic Boy Beaten By A Gang
Horrible video footage of an autistic teenage boy being beaten by a gang of youths has been obtained by the Herald Sun.
The boy has been identified as Quinn Lahiff-Jenkins.
The video shows a defenceless Quinn being thrown off his bike, and pinned down and punched in the face multiple times.
The boys attacking the teen were armed with wrenches.
The incident occured just outside Northcote High School.
The victim's mother, Carmen Lahiff-Jenkins spoke with the Herald Sun, and said that her were nightmare had come to life as she received a phone call from her distressed son on his way to the Austin Hospital in an ambulance.
“There are marks on his body but mental health is the biggest issue,” she said.
The terrifying attack happened only one year after Quinn Lahiff-Jenkins joined the mainstream school system.
Quinn is yet to leave his home, as he is terrified of what is waiting for him outside.
Victoria Police is investigating the assault.
