Dreamworld Victim’s Husband Says Son Is Traumatised

Just a few days after the devastating tragedy at Dreamworld, details from the incident and the aftermath are now coming to light.

A 10-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl were thrown from the doomed raft to safety, though they lost their mothers.

The terrified screams of Ebony Goodchild, 12, and Kieran Low, 10, rang out in the Gold Coast theme park as they, their mothers and two other family members were thrown from a malfunctioning raft on Tuesday afternoon.

In a devastating twist of fate, the children survived, having to watch their mothers, Kate Goodchild and Cindy Low pass away on the ride.

The fathers dropped everything and ran to the scene, but their wives were already deceased, the Courier Mail reported.

Mr Goodchild held his baby daughter Evie as he collected young Ebony but would also be met with news that his wife's brother Luke Dorsett, 35, and his partner Roozi Araghi, 38, had not survived the accident.

His father Graham said he still hasn't uttered a word about the accident, but has taken his daughter's back home to Canberra as they prepare for four funerals.

'They haven't even told us completely what happened but I know that tonight there are two very traumatised children coming back home,' he told the Courier Mail.
