Mourners Farewell Kate Goodchild And Luke Dorsett

Thousands of mourners gathered in Canberra to farewell Luke Dorsett and Kate Goodchild who were killed on a Dreamworld ride last month.

Friends and family gathered at St Christopher’s Cathedral in Manuka.

They arrived to the sound of Phil Collins’ beautiful song ‘You’ll be in my heart’.

Kate is survived by her husband Dave and two daughters Ebony and Evie.

Local media gathered outside the service, which was to be followed by a burial at Gungahlin Cemetery.

Mr Dorsett’s partner, Roozbeh Araghi and 42-year-old Cindy Low also died in the accident.

Ms Low's family and friends said goodbye to her at a funeral on the Central Coast last Thursday.

Mr Araghi was also farewelled at a service in Sydney last week.

Dreamworld remains closed to the public.
