F1 Bernie Ecclestone's Mother-In Law Kidnapped For Ransom
Formula One Chief Bernie Ecclestone's mother in law has allegedly been kidnapped with an AU $48.75 million ransom demand.
Aparecida Schunck, 67, was reportedly kidnapped in Sao Paulo on Friday, according to Brazilian Magazine Veja.
The kidnappers have asked for 120 million Brazilian reals as ransom - which is reportedly the largest amount ever demanded in the country's history.
Schunck is the mother of Fabiana Flosi, who married Ecclestone in 2012.
Local police have been unable to corroborate the reports from the magazine.
This is not the first time his family has been targeted by would-be kidnappers.
In 2012 a dental technician reportedly plotted to kidnap one of his daughters, Tamara, while another London man plead guilty to threats in 2011 and faced five years behind bars.
Ecclestone is reportedly worth US$3.1billion.
More to Come.
