Aussie Kindergarten Leaves Child Outside Alone After Error
A four-year-old boy was found crying alone outside his daycare centre in Melbourne, after a teacher allegedly let him out early because she thought his father had arrived.
According to The Herald Sun, the young boy's parents drove to Westerngate Kindergarten in Melbourne five minutes early when they found their child standing alone, in tears.
The father of the boy said he was 'furious' when a staff member explained that she let the boy out because she thought he was waiting outside, an incident report revealed.

According to the kindergarten's policy, children can only be taken out of the centre once parents arrive and sign them out.
'He was crying and said the teachers told him that Daddy was there...I had smoke coming out of my ears. Me and my wife, our heartbeats were running at 100 miles an hour, we were fuming.'
'Someone could have got him, or he could have been hit by a car.'
The staff member has since apologised to the family and admitted that she made a mistake.
The four-year-old's parents have spoken out about the calamity because they didn't want any other parents to go through a similar incident.
