It's Official! Your Favourite 00s Disney Show Is Coming Back
*Clutches chest, stares into the distance.*
You GUYS... They're making a That's So Raven spin-off!
No, really. Raven-Symoné, star of the original teen psychic series, announced last week that she was wrapping up her time on US chat show The View to produce a sequel to the OG Disney program.
"I'm excited and sad, but mostly excited," she said. "I have an announcement to make. No, I'm not pregnant... We're doing a That's So Raven II - with no real title. There's no title yet. I'm very excited."
Luckily, more details have started to trickle through; Raven herself will be reprising her role - so you know it's going to be good - but now she's going to be a divorced mother of two preteen kids, daughter Nia and son Booker.
Oh, and Nia has inherited her mum's special skills.
We're already imagining Raven having premonitions about her daughter's premonitions and all of the shenanigans that will no doubt ensue; E! News are reporting that Nia's future-seeing ability will turn her school-life upside down.
Like mother, like daughter.
Booker, on the other hand, is described as an "unapologetic mama's boy", so we're envisaging a Corey 2.0 situation right about now.
The show is still in casting and there's no word yet as to whether any more of the original cast will be returning, but we're hopeful.
Thank you, TV gods. We heart you.
