About 1pm Monday 13 August police attended a home on East Terrace to search for a man wanted for serious offences. The officers had reason to believe the single male occupant was inside the home and cordoned the area before calling for the assistance of STAR Group Officers.

Just after 9pm this evening STAR Group Officers entered the home to conduct a search and did not locate any persons inside.

Investigations to locate the man continue, police would like to thank local residents for their patience.

Some road closures around East Terrace remain; please take direction from police at the scene if driving through the area.
