Murder In Adelaide’s North-East, Man Charged
A 35-year-old man was charged with murder on Friday afternoon after a 65-year-old man was killed in his home in Paradise earlier in the day.
Police and paramedics were called to the victim’s address in Urban Avenue, Paradise just before 5.30am on Friday morning.
A 65-year-old man was found inside the house and, despite the efforts of paramedics, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man charged was known to the victim.
The victim has been identified as Frank Russo (pictured above), who was a self-proclaimed independent research scientist with his own website and blog in which he claimed he had a cure for diabetes and could stop the ageing process.
The man charged is due to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
It’s the second murder of the week in Adelaide, following the death of a 36-year-old man in Elizabeth Grove. Two men and one woman have been charged with murder.
