Elder Park is hosting a vigil for murdered Melbourne comedian Eurydice Dixon at 5 pm.

It's one of a number of vigils being held nationwide.

The 22 year-old was raped and murdered while walking home through Princes Park in Carlton North last week.

Charges have been laid over a road rage incident in Salisbury East last week.

Three teens were threatened with a gun and robbed of their phones and wallets after their car was rammed in Birch Avenue late Monday night.

A 30 year-old Salisbury North man has now been charged with aggravated robbery, acts to endanger lift and various driving offences.

He'll face court in Elizabeth today.

More protection for motorists on the southern expressway.

Steel mesh is being installed over loose rocks at Beach Road and Honeypot Road following a number of rock-throwing incidents in recent months.

Additional CCTV cameras are also being installed along the motorway.

Plans are also in place for fencing and throw screens on bridges.

South Australia's Royal Commission into the Murray Darling basin plan is underway.

It's looking into the operations and effectiveness of the plan after reports of water theft upstream.

More than 100 written submissions have already been received.
