Police Dog Jax Gets His Man

A man has been arrested after he was found on a construction site in Myrtle Bank overnight.

Just after 11.30pm on Saturday 5 May, police were called to Spence Avenue after reports of a man seen within a construction site.

Patrols set up cordons while recently graduated Police Dog Jax carried out a search. PD Jax was hot on the man's heels and tracked him through the premises until he was found hiding behind bushes.

The 38-year-old from Crafers West was charged with unlawfully on premises and going equipped after police found him in possession of a torch, bolt cutters and gloves. He has been bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 21 June.

PD Jax was given a bone and big tummy rub!
