Police Release Image Of Man Wanted For Attempting To Abduct

Police are investigating reports of suspicious behaviour in the Burnside area and have released an image of the man being sought over the incidents.

Between Tuesday 13 September and Thursday 15 September, Eastern Adelaide Police received three reports of a man on foot following people in the Burnside and Stonyfell areas.

In the first incident - a girl was walking along Greenhill Road near Glen Street at Burnside when the man grabbed her arm. She was able to break free and run off.

The girl described the man as being of Asian appearance, between 25-28 years, about 170-175cm tall, skinny build and black coloured hair.  He was wearing a grey hooded jumper with white drawstrings and had the hood on and black pants with white stripes.  He was also wearing black framed glasses and spoke with a stutter.

Two other reports to police in the following days involved a suspicious man of similar description following people in the vicinity of Michael Perry Reserve near Andrews Walk at Stonyfell.

Eastern Adelaide CIB Detectives have released a  computer generated photo-fit image similar to the man being sought by police.

If you have any information on these or similar incidents or the identity of the person being sought by police, they are asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online HERE
