A Convicted Murderer Is On The Run In Adelaide
A convicted murderer on the run for nearly a week has let down a pre-release program that trusted her, South Australia's corrections boss says.
Tara Kehoe, 37, went missing during an external work program that is part of a pre-release initiative at Adelaide Women's Prison in Northfield last Friday.
"It's totally unacceptable that this woman has breached the trust put in her and has absconded," Department of Corrections chief executive David Brown told ABC radio on Thursday.
SA Police have released a photo of the woman with the following information:
Tara Kehoe is part of the pre-release centre at the Adelaide Women's Prison.
She is aged in her 40’s, 170cm tall, 65kg with long straight brown hair. She is wearing a black long sleeved t-shirt.
Anyone who sights Tara Kehoe is asked not to approach her and to contact police on 131 444.
