Serious crash leaves roads completely blocked for southbound
Police and emergency services are currently at the scene of a crash at Plympton.
Just after 2.30pm on Wednesday 30 January, a car struck a pedestrian on Marion Road near the intersection of Mabel Street.
Marion Road is blocked to all southbound traffic from Anzac Highway and Mabel Street is blocked at the northern end.
Police have asked drivers to take alternate routes.
Advertiser police reporter Ben Harvy tweeted that it was an elderly woman who had been hit, and included a photo of the car he said hit her.

Meanwhile, a second pedestrian has been struck this afternoon in Adelaide, this time a teenager in Elizabeth Grove.
Police and paramedics were called to Harvey Road after a car collided with a teenage boy. He sustained serious injuries in the crash and was rushed to hospital.
Harvey Road is closed between Ridley Road and Smitham Street, Elizabeth Grove.
