Shannon Noll Pleads Guilty To Drug Charge
Singer Shannon Noll has pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine at a Sydney pub.
The 43-year-old's lawyer, Bryan Wrench, entered the plea at Sutherland Local Court on Thursday, while Noll sat outside the courtroom.
Noll was pinged with half a gram of the drug in a bag at a pub in Sydney last month and was arrested following a dog squad search.
At the time, NSW police told news.com.au that a 42-year-old man was arrested by police after “allegedly being detected with white powder, believed to be cocaine”.
It follows a string of incidents, including footage of Noll yelling abuse at an audience member at the Duck Creek Picnic Races in July after a beer can was thrown at him and, in January 2017, Noll was arrested and charged over the assault of a bouncer outside an Adelaide strip joint.
Noll will be sentenced later on Thursday.
