Sixth Arrest Over Southern Suburbs Rock-Throwing Incidents
A sixth juvenile has been charged after investigations into incidents of rock throwing and assaults in the southern suburbs in earlier this year.
The incidents are alleged to have occurred on Saturday 31 March at Morphett Vale, Sunday 1 April at Hackham West and Sunday 3 June 2018 at Christie Downs. On Sunday 1 April five youths were arrested and charged with numerous offences relating to the incidents.
On Thursday 27 July following investigations Detectives from the Southern District CIB arrested a 16-year-old boy from Oaklands Park and charged him with five counts of aggravated assault cause harm, one count of aggravated assault and property damage.
The boy was bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Youth Court on Thursday 16 August.
