State Budget Handed Down
South Australia is spending big to create jobs, with the state budget looking to small businesses to lead the charge.
Treasurer Tom Koutsantonis has handed down his third budget, which returns the state's finances to the black for the first time in five years.
A key feature is a $109 million dollar grants package to provide up to $10,000 dollars to companies for each new worker they hire.
Among other measures is $250 million dollars to build or upgrade Science labs in public schools and $50 million dollars in support for troubled steelmaker Arrium.
