We have a new contender for "Adelaide's Worst Driver"!
A crane will need to be used remove a car from the rear of a Morphett Vale shopping centre, following a bizarre crash this afternoon.
Just after 1pm, the driver of a Holden sedan turning from Ragan Road in to Hillier Road lost control, careering through a fence and crashing down an embankment. The car eventually came to rest on its side, wedged between a retaining wall and a rear of a shop.
Two 20-year-old male passengers from the Commodore were taken to the Flinders Medical Centre with minor injuries. The driver, a 17-year-old boy from Hallett Cove, was uninjured.
South Coast Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, but wet roads and drive inexperience appear to be contributing factors to the crash.
