Tigerair Cancels Bali-Australia Flights Until Further Notice
Tigerair Australia have cancelled all flights to Bali today following a decision by the Indonesian government to carry out new administrative requirements.
The action affects all Tigerair flights between Bali and Australia.
In a statement, Tigerair says that Bali flights due to return to Australia on January 12 are under review and an update will be made on their website.
“In the event of further cancellations, customers will be contacted proactively by Tigerair Australia,” the statement read.
“Tigerair is working with the relevant Indonesian authorities to meet the new requirements and is hopeful of having flights up and running again as soon as possible.
"All other Tigerair domestic flights are not affected by this decision."
If you are booked to travel to Bali today are advised not to go to the airport and wait for a call from the airline with their options.
