Two Arrested After Drugs And Guns Found In Port Lincoln

Two people have been arrested after drugs and guns were found at a house in Port Lincoln yesterday.

Police will allege that about 2 pm on Monday 7 May, detectives from Port Lincoln Criminal Investigation Branch and patrol officers searched a house and found nine firearms and a large amount of illicit drugs, some of which were suspected of being methamphetamine.

Three of the firearms had been illegally modified.

A 31-year-old Port Lincoln woman and a 27-year-old Port Lincoln man were charged with numerous firearms and drug trafficking offences. The woman has also been charged with supplying prescribed (modified) firearms.

Both people have been refused police bail and will appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court today.
