Woman arrested over St Marys stabbing

Police have arrested a woman following a stabbing incident at St Marys.

Just after 10.30pm, Wednesday 30 May, police and emergency services were called to a home on Walsh Avenue after reports of a disturbance.

Upon arrival, police located a man with a stab wound to his head and abdomen, a 27-year-old St Marys woman who is known to the man was arrested at the premises. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to the Flinders Medical Centre for treatment.

The woman was charged with aggravated assault and causing serious harm. She was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
