Everyone has a dream and sometimes you need a little help along the way to make it come true.
That’s where Jodie, Mark and Snowy can help. No matter how big or small, we’ll roll up our sleeves and see if we can make something happen.
Sue from Salisbury Downs wanted us to do something special for her daughter Chelsea:
"I’m entering the ‘Mix Makes it Happen’ competition as we’ve had a lot of things happening in our life that both my daughter Chelsea and our son Jackson are having to deal with.
Chelsea’s Nana’s partner (who has really been their grandad for 17 years) was taken to hospital 3 weeks ago after suffering with prostate cancer for a number of years.
This meant that their Nana was and still is, staying with us at night and this was a big adjustment for both of them as we only have a 3 bedroom house.
Unfortunately their Grandad passed away last Wednesday, with the funeral taking place yesterday.
Chelsea has a passion for singing and last year as a gift someone gave her some studio time to record a cover song, she had the best time ever and the song she chose was Guy Sebastian’s ‘Don’t Worry Be Happy’. She now has a number of songs on You Tube including this one from Guy Sebastian, who is her favourite. I thought it would be a wonderful way to say thank you to her for being so understanding through this difficult time, if she could have perhaps have some tips from Guy himself.
She has a lot of comments on her You Tube songs about going on X Factor and so on … While I believe this would be great later on in life, I don’t think she is old enough. And should she win, she’s too young to cope with all the things that these shows bring with them. The thing I would like to do is just keep her passion for singing alive until she is mature enough to decide for herself.
Thank you for considering my entry and fingers crossed she will be selected. Should you make her dream come true, this is going to cost me a fortune in Lego for my son, so he does not feel left out…lol
Thank you for considering Chelsea"
