A new television advertisement for Australian Tourism has caused controversy with a scene shot on an SA beach accused of being misleading.
The scene in question, shot at Seal Bay on Kangaroo Island, shows a couple stumbling along a beach with a bottle of wine towards a rather thirsty looking seal (15 second mark of the video below).
According to The Australian newspaper, the beach can only be accessed in the company of a ranger due to the sensitivity of the local environment and the seal and sea-lion population (who incidentally are not allowed to consume alcohol as it makes them rowdy).
