Aaron Hernandez’s fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins, is set to break her silence about the Netflix documentary centring around the late NFL player’s murder conviction, sexuality, and eventual suicide.
In a sneak preview of the interview, Jenkins is asked about how people should remember Aaron Hernandez.
“It’s the hardest thing ever,” she replies.
The Good Morning America interview is expected to reveal parts of Hernandez’s story that were left out of the documentary.

For those unfamiliar with the documentary, ‘Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez’ follows ex-NFL player Aaron Hernandez’s childhood, sexuality, career, and subsequent murder conviction. It also reveals that the former New England Patriots star had CTE or Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, suggesting that could have been the reason for his violent outbursts.
Since the documentary’s debut on January 15th, Jenkins has not spoken publicly about its portrayal of her ex-fiancé. The 30-year-old shares a daughter with Hernandez, and was engaged to the NFL player when he took his own life in prison where he was serving a murder sentence.
Hernandez, who was drafted into the NFL at the age of 20, had just finalised a five-year, $40 million contract with the New England Patriots when he was arrested in 2013 for the murder of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd.
He was convicted of Lloyd’s murder in 2015.
Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez is currently streaming on Netflix.
