She came runner-up in 2013 when Tim Robards denied her a rose, and she’s probably still got the tan from Bachelor In Paradise which finished up last night.
Channel 10 used the finale to let us know that Ali has been locked in as the one to step into Sophie Monk’s heels to find love on the TV.
In Paradise, she did hook up with American Bachelor Grant Kemp. But the tyranny of distance seems to have done a number on that relationship.
Ali said, “I have had my heart broken, but I’ve picked myself up and I’m ready to put my heart on the line again. I’m absolutely thrilled to start this new adventure,” she said.
“I’m looking for a man who is light-hearted and kind, a genuine and down-to-earth man who will sweep me off my feet and love me for me. And I’m looking forward to offering that love back to him in return.”
Before we get to see Ali dodge Stage 5 Clingers and throw roses at all manner of gentlemen, The Honey Badger Nick Cummins will serve as the Bachelor for a bit.
