If you’re single and ready to find love, then this could be your chance!
Network 10 and Warner Bros have begun the casting process for The Bachelor 2020! And yep, we mean for the main role!
To take part in the audition process for The Bachelor, fellas will need to be aged between 27 and 40, according to the casting application, and obviously must be single.
Filming is set to take place in Sydney and you must be available between mid-February to mid-may for filming.
The casting application for the man who will hand out the roses next year indicates that the franchise is looking for another unknown person to take on the role, similar to Matt Agnew this year.
This is different to other years where they used a sporting celebrity like The Honey Badger (what a success that was…) or a previous contestant like Matty J.
Although with petitions happening left right and centre it’s still a possibility that one of the fan favourites from the most recent season of The Bachelorette could be chosen for the gig, such as Ciarran.
This comes after the most recent Bachelor, Matt Agnew, just announced that he and his chosen lady Chelsie McLeod have split just a few weeks after their final aired on TV and their relationship was made public.

These past six months since filming have been a very unique experience. Chels and I have made some beautiful memories together that I’ll always cherish, and I wish her nothing but the absolute best. However, it’s with a heavy heart that I write this. For Chels and me, our relationship hasn’t translated from filming to the real, every day world as we had hoped. Chels is a very special woman and I want her to find the happiness she deserves. For those who may wonder if there’s someone else for me right now, there absolutely is not. It’s no one’s fault, it’s just life.
So not a great demonstration of the love that you’re supposed to find on The Bachelor, but hey, there’s definitely some success stories out there! Both Matty J and Sam Wood have ended up with Bachelor babies following the process!
