Mix102.3 breakfast radio hosts Jodie and Soda are on the hunt for ‘Kerry from Eudunda’ because she deserves their help.
Kerry was on a different Adelaide radio station in recent days.
She told the on-air hosts that she had “a few bills” and her Mum had recently passed away.
“She didn’t have any money so I had to take out a loan for her funeral and a few other things,” Kerry said.
But unfortunately for Kerry she didn’t win any money on the radio station’s regular game, then had to turn down their offer for Fringe tickets that night.
Jodie and Soda want to help.
But they have to find Kerry to be able to do it.
“No-one should have to have that situation in life because it’s bloody tough losing a parent but having that (loan for a funeral) to go on top of it, is not right,” Soda said this morning, promising they would ‘right a wrong’.
Jodie and Soda have an amazing record of helping South Australians in need. Just last month they raised more than $200,000 for a Cancer Wellness Centre in South Australia to fulfill the wish of the late Kerry Briggs. Earlier this year they organised front row tickets to Phil Collins for Racheal who had lost her husband. The two of them had shared a special bond surrounding Phil Collins.
