Jodie and Soda’s latest rescue gave Mackenzie the most amazing start to Year 6 at Brighton Primary School on Tuesday morning.
The 12-year-old who goes out of his way to help the Little Nippers at the Brighton Surf Life Saving Club, was treated to two of the most special rides to school ever.
Mackenzie and his mum headed into the city in a 24-seater stretch Hummer thanks to Hummer SA.
In the parklands the Channel 7 Adelaide helicopter arrived to take him into school, landing on the oval with a Rockstar reception from the 650 students.
But it wasn’t over with food, drinks and gifts for all his class thanks to OTR & Brumby’s.
What a way to start the school year!
Another successful rescue by Jodie and Soda.
A rockstar welcome for one lucky student as he arrived at school in the 7 News chopper. We’ll have the latest on his first day back at school in 7 News at 4pm and 6pm. @mark_soda @mix1023 #7News pic.twitter.com/NR2qSvnBTo
