Guess what Aussies, you’re going to hear Katy Perry ROAR on the next International Women’s Day!

The pop star announced on Instagram that she is heading Down Under in March next year for a very special performance.

Katy will be performing at the International Women’s Day T20 cricket world cup final, which is set to be the biggest women’s cricket match of all time!

“Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi!,” Katy wrote alongside a pic on Instagram. “Let’s break some records – join me in Melbourne on March 8 2020 for the ICC @T20WorldCup Women’s Final.

“We’re Roar in support of these awesome women on International Women’s Day!”

The ‘Firework’ singer is set to perform before and after the match, and they’re actually hoping to set a new world record on the day for the biggest crowd ever at a women’s sporting event.

The current record stands at 90,185 that attended the 1999 women’s soccer World Cup final between the US and China at California’s Rose Bowl.

“So I have an idea for what we can do on International Women’s Day,” she said in a video on Instagram. “Why don’t you join me on Sunday March 8th 2020 to celebrate women and maybe we can make it the biggest turn out for a female sporting event ever.

“Who’s down to break that record with me? See you there!”

It’s going down at Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday March 8th 2020 at 6pm.
