Poh was a ticking time bomb this entire season but she finally went off last night.

On the Masterchefs: Back To Win episode, we finally saw Poh irreparably crumble and is Masterchef really Masterchef without her?

Making half-parsley half truffle brown butter and lemon culurgiones (try say that three times rapidly) were her downfall despite sounding delicious.

Consistently this season we’ve seen Poh’s emotions get in the way of her excellent execution, blustering through challenges not being able to make up her mind on what to cook, how to cook, whether to cook?

I’m just so frustrated with my own personality sometimes. Like, I just get really obsessive when I get things wrong. And I just couldn’t get it up. I just, like, didn’t do what I wanted to do”, she said on the show.

Her elimination was an emotional one with judge Melissa Leong calling her a ‘National Treasure’!

Callum had some amazing words to say which I feel encapsulate what a figure Poh has become “I think when people around this country would think of the word MasterChef, you’re probably the image that gets conjured up in their mind, for all the wonderful things we love about you.”
