It’s been more than 20 years since the Spice Girls dropped their iconic song ‘Spice Up Your Life’ and it turns out we’ve been singing the lyrics wrong this whole time.
Geri Halliwell (aka Ginger Spice) dropped a massive truth bomb on fans after they announced their mini reunion tour, minus Victoria Beckham.
Re-posting a video of the announcement, she tagged the Spice Girls’ official Instagram account and wrote: “Hai-Si-ja-hold tight #spicegirls #tour2019.”
Which part of the song, we hear you ask? It’s actually the bit at the end of the chorus where they go:
“Chicas to the front, hai si ja hold tight”.
Yep, it’s NOT “Hi C Ya”, or even “I See Ya”, which fans have been singing since the 90s.
It turns out that the Spice Girls were actually saying yes in three different languages.

The three words mean ‘yes’ in Japanese, Spanish, and German, respectively.
Who else is SHOOK?
