In what’s been described as “savage” comes this observation from the bastion of Perth news, The Bell Tower Times.

The post, featuring the first of a four-page spread on the Gaff incident in Wednesday’s copy of The West Australian has been gathering momentum – because of a seemingly innocuous ad.

Thing is, it’s an advert for… dentistry.

West Coast’s Andrew Gaff copped an eight-week ban over the on-field punch which left Fremantl Docker Andrew Brayshaw with a broken jaw and three displaced chompers.

Brayshaw can’t eat solid food for the next four weeks, and he will also require more dental work in the future.

At the time of publishing, the post had clocked up more than 1000 comments and more than 530 shares in just two hours on Facebook and almost 2500 likes on Instagram.
